Infineon Raceway, Sonoma, California

The Infineon Raceway is a track known to many as a NASCAR track that is filled with lefts and rights. In this respect, only a handful of NASCAR racecar drivers are adept in manipulating the bends without compromising the speed. That is what makes the Infineon Raceway one of the more challenging NASCAR tracks of all times.

The Infineon Raceway is a NASCAR track found 30 minutes drive north of the San Francisco Golden Bridge . Nearby, there's the amazing Sonoma Wine Country. Because of its popularity, the Infineon Raceway hosts many different races, including the NASCAR races throughout the year; and some of the races being hosted by Infineon Raceway are the NASCAR NEXTEL, Hot Rod (NHRA) drag racing, the Superbike tour and the Indycar Series too. Infineon Raceway holds many events all year round. It's been reported that they have events up to 340 days a year.

In particular, the Infineon Raceway has special meaning for Jeff Gordon of NASCAR because he is, currently, the winner of the NEXTEL Cup who took home the most money after a win…a whopping $1.5 million after competing in 13 of the 17 NASCAR events held at the Infineon Raceway. So far, Jeff Gordon is one NASCAR racecar driver who have won the most races in Infineon Raceway…which is 4 wins.

It seems like Tony Stewart may have a soft spot for Infineon too since he has never finished worse than 15 th placing in the NASCAR track. In fact, Tony Stewart is a man who bagged 2 top finishes and also another runner-up. Most of the time, winners of NASCAR races usually win because they're on a winning streak. It seems that, this time, Tony Stewart might just be on one.

If the predictions are right, in Infineon Raceway, Tony Stewart, who is on a winning streak, might find Jeff Gordon to be a little more than a challenge there. But this doesn't mean that other NASCAR racers have no chance at all. Other NASCAR racers to keep an eye out for in Infineon includes Kurt Busch, Mark Martin, Robby Gordon and Elliott Sadler.
